We are moving to new jacks for our under axle applications. Here is one of our new air assisted hydraulic jacks being used for aircraft weighing under axle.
Our two stage jacks have a capacity to lift 50,000 lbs on the first stage and second stage. Higher capacity jacks are available on request for other aircraft types.
First we will want to confirm your main axle point height, there is a differance between new and used tires as well as which type and ply tire you are using. This is important, so as to determine if an adapter will be needed.
Adapters are used for the main jacks to go from a 737 to an A320. Our line of scales and jacks are made to enable the user to expand the system and add cells and adapters to fit other types of aircraft.
80 ton two stage air jack makes the weighing operation easy, air operated on shop air, controlled lift and leveling.
Checking the level is easy, just plumb bob and check on the right side. Keep in mind, Boeing has an "out of level" chart for correction if you can not get the nose high enough. All you have to do is side to side, if you want to raise the nose to level, then you will use adapters and shim plates which are easy to install, but not necessary. Check your manual for your full procedures and charts.
